There is something exciting about a new year.
It's such a fresh start, a clean slate - with so many opportunities!
I love setting goals! I find that the easy part. But it is SO easy to let things get in the way of my goals and dreams. Family and work are my top 2 distractions.
Here are some ideas that I have found extremely helpful:
30 day challenge by Chalene Johnson. You can find it here.
I started this challenge earlier this month. SO much helpful information and ideas to really get you going on your goals!
Vision Boards. You can find lots of ideas here.
I really want to do that! I'm going to have to collect magazines again. I just threw out a whole bunch that had been cluttering up my bedroom. These vision boards look so stylish too!
Scriptures. I was reading here last week and this scripture really hit me. "O that I were an angel, and could have the wish of mine heart" - If I could have anything, what would it be?
Regrets. Last night I read an article here. It really got me thinking about regrets. If Barbara Walters' one regret was not having a bigger family, what will I regret when I get to be her age? Definitely a good read!
SO, even though it is the 11th day of January, there is no better time to start than now! New Year's Resolutions aren't just for January 1st. They are for anytime during the year. And most of the time I find if I break my goals into smaller pieces they are easier to accomplish. Who wants to wait until the end of the year to see if they've met their goals anyway?
I love this article. When is the best time to plant a tree? 20 years ago! When is the second-best time to plant a tree? NOW!
Get going - I am too!!
