The best healthy brownies

{This recipe is taken from Hershey's Best Brownies and made even better!}:

1 cup butter
2 cups coconut sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
4 eggs
3/4 cup cacao powder
1 cup whole grain flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Melt butter. Stir in sugar and vanilla. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well with wooden spoon after each addition. Add cacao powder, blend well. Add rest of ingredients. Pour into prepared 9 x 13 pan. Bake 30 - 35 minutes.


Everyone in the family loves these. We love to freeze the leftovers and they are good cold and right out of the freezer.
