Substitutions

When making recipes healthier, here is what I do - here are my most common substitutions:

Melted butter for vegetable oil
Melted coconut oil for vegetable oil
Coconut oil for Crisco
Coconut sugar for brown or white sugar 
Sea salt for salt
Butter for margarine
Raw Cacao for Cocoa powder
Organic for non-organic
Whole grain flour for all-purpose flour

Sweeteners I commonly use:
Stevia
Xylitol (sparingly)
Coconut Sugar (my most favorite!)
Honey
Brown Rice Syrup
Maple Syrup
