Raw Breakfast Bowl

I found this recipe from The Rawtarian here.

I was looking for some breakfast ideas. Seems like we eat the same few things day after day.

I actually made this for lunch yesterday and it is pretty good!

Here's what mine looked like:
 and here's the recipe:

1 shredded apple
1 tablespoon chia seeds
1 tablespoon shredded coconut
1 tablespoon raisins
1 tablespoon almonds or sunflower seeds
Sprinkle cinnamon
1 tablespoon buckwheat groats (optional)
1/3 cup cashew milk (optional) or 1/3 cup water (mandatory)

Shred apple. Add remaining ingredients. Stir.

It's as easy as that!

{BTW, I used almond milk instead of the cashew milk and water.}

I gave the kids a spoonful each. They liked it but I'm not sure they would go for having it as the main dish.  Maybe this and a green smoothie?

I think I'm going to make this for MY breakfast this morning!
